We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to assist with day-to-day accounting tasks during a 3-week temporary assignment starting May 7th. One week of training will be provided.
This role is primarily focused on accounts payable and basic data entry. It’s a great fit for someone with bookkeeping or AP experience who is comfortable following established processes and supporting a busy team.
The Bookkeeper will report directly to the Controller and work closely with other departments as needed.
Qualification:
- Previous bookkeeping or accounts payable experience is an asset
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable following processes and working independently
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Enter and process vendor bills, credit card transactions and other transactions as necessary.
- Maintain vendor records and ensure documentation is properly collected and filed
- Match invoices to supporting documents (tickets, packing slips, etc.)
- Enter inventory-related transactions (data entry; training provided)
- Assist with other accounting tasks as required
Salary:
$23-$25 per hour (based on experience)
