We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical professional with strong Data problem solving using technical tools and building models, to join our team as a Senior Analyst. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, forecasting supply and demand, and preparing, maintaining, and distributing daily commodity marketing pricing reports. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to play a pivotal role in our NGL marketing operations. What you’ll do: Analyze business flows and processes to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, specifically for the propane and butane space. Develop accurate supply and demand models to support business viability and operational decision-making. Collaborate with the commercial team to understand pricing and optimize NGL price offer capabilities. Monitor and analyze competitors' pricing and sales activities, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to identify potential impacts on our business. Build and maintain comprehensive reports using advanced data management tools and techniques for use in presentations and recommendations for senior management, highlighting key findings and actionable insights. Analyze business processes with cross-functional teams, including accounting, sales, supply, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and efficient operations. What you bring: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; Master's degree is preferred. 3 – 5 years of experience in the energy industry, with a strong focus data builds, data management, and Midstream Analytics. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and forecasting techniques. Strong understanding of NGL markets, pricing mechanisms, and industry dynamics. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Hands-on experience building complex models from multiple sources and databases, particularly Excel Power Query, Power BI, and experience with SQL, Azure, Databricks, Python, Experience with RightAngle, or other ETRM systems preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges. Familiarity with supply chain optimization and logistics management would be considered an asset. Salary: $82,300 - $102,800 annually, based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography. Eligible employees may earn performance-based incentives and have access to comprehensive benefits and retirement plans with matching contributions.
