Location: Toronto, ON — Downtown East Employment Type: Permanent Compensation: $150,000–$230,000, plus stock option perks Level: Senior Senior Frontend Engineer — Fintech Build modern fintech experiences that make everyday payments work harder. Agilus is recruiting for a fast-growing Canadian fintech platform helping people turn major expenses—like rent, tuition, and insurance—into opportunities to build credit, earn rewards, and improve financial flexibility. We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to own high-impact web features, shape frontend architecture, and deliver polished customer experiences across a modern Next.js application. What You’ll Do Build responsive, accessible, high-performance features using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS. Partner with Product, Design, Backend, and Mobile teams to deliver seamless fintech experiences. Create reusable UI components, improve frontend architecture, and optimize performance. Take ownership of quality, reliability, and production-ready delivery. What We’re Looking For 4–6 years building production web applications. Strong experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js, and modern frontend architecture. Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, APIs, performance, and usability.
