Since our inception in 2012, Steel Reef has supported the energy community in capturing wasted energy, processing and distributing associated natural gas and other products, and bringing in net new energy production and distribution for homes, communities and businesses. Focusing our efforts within the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and Bakken Resource Play, Steel Reef has become a market leader in developing the emissions-to-energy practice to supply net new energy from flare gas, a previously unavailable source. In 2024, Steel Reef entered into multiple long-term Power Purchase Agreements with SaskPower. Following construction of additional utility-grade electricity substations and generation turbines powered by recovered flare gas, Steel Reef will provide more than 100 megawatts (MW) of electricity within Saskatchewan and North Dakota, which could power more than 100,000 homes annually. Position Profile: Steel Reef Infrastructure Corp. is currently recruiting for the full-time position of Production Accountant. Reporting to the Team Lead, Production Accounting, this position is responsible for the oversight of the production accounting function as well as associated revenue accounting activities for some of the gas plants in the organization. Key Responsibilities: Perform and oversee the product allocations of assigned facilities, prepare revenue and settlement statements; Understand and provide review and analysis of allocation results for internal review as well as for customers; Set up and manage processes and procedures for completion of monthly reporting for assigned facilities; Responsible for ensuring timely resolution of prior period amendments, audit queries, and communication with counterparties for assigned facilities; Ensure complete and accurate full cycle production and revenue accounting; Perform monthly gas and production allocations for assigned gas plants using a combination of Excel and Quorum TIPs production accounting software, including interpreting measurement schematics to configure new or amend existing facility implementations, allocations, and troubleshooting; Interpret various gas handling agreements to configure plant set up and ensure accurate settlement invoicing; Populate volumetric data into Quorum TIPs by government posted schedules; Responsible to ensure timely completion of regulatory reporting such as answering to CAIR report and annual EPAP declaration; Collaborate with the operations and commercial teams as well as external customers to gather and analyze the day-to-day data; Track, verify and reconcile truck deliveries through corresponding pipeline and/or truck/rail tickets to support the marketing invoicing process; Work closely with the Business Analyst and Marketing Accounting teams to ensure proper inputs are captured for settlement and to review settlement statements for accuracy; Participate in various business and system projects as required; Assist in the reconciliation of accounts receivable; Ensure full compliance with internal controls and corporate policies; and Ad hoc projects as required. Required Skills, Experience & Education: CAPPA certification; Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business administration or similar disciplines; 3+ years of production accounting experience; Working knowledge of the Quorum TIPs production accounting system is desired considered an asset; Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate results while meeting rigid deadlines; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and Excellent communication and organizational skills and solid team player. Exigences

Requires CAPPA certification and a post-secondary degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Candidates must have at least 3 years of production accounting experience, preferably with Quorum TIPs software.
