Smart & Biggar is currently looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist (Trust Administration) to join our National Finance Team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong expertise in trust administration and accounting who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is committed to accuracy, compliance, and exceptional client service. This role will fill an existing vacancy. Responsibilities. Process and reconcile trust transactions, including trust disbursements Apply cash receipts accurately and ensure proper allocation across client accounts Ensure full compliance with Law Society rules and regulations related to trust accounts Complete month-end trust reconciliations Act as a resource for internal staff regarding client and trust account inquiries Assist with finance-related projects and administrative tasks as required Qualifications, Competencies And Experience. Accounting and/or finance education 2+ years related work experience in accounts receivable High proficiency with MS office, familiarity with Elite 3E is a plus Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Great attention to detail, highly motivated and proactive Compensation. The base salary for this role will be positioned between $55,000 - $70,000 taking into consideration factors such as location, job-related knowledge, prior experience, qualifications, and internal equity. -- Our recruitment process uses AI-enabled tools to assist with the assessment of applications based on job-related criteria.
