Our client is a fast-growing food distributor located in Vaughan, Ontario. They operate across multiple channels, supplying major retailers, wholesalers, and independent businesses with high-quality food products. Their environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and committed to operational excellence. Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Full Cylce-Accountant to join our client’s accounting team. Contract Period: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $90,000 annually Location: Vaughan, Ontario Location Type: Onsite Business Hours: Monday to Friday; Core Business Hours Job Responsibilities: Manage Accounts Payable (A/P), including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations Prepare and issue invoices and assist with accounts receivable functions Support the preparation of financial statements and monthly reporting packages Maintain and update general ledger accounts Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data Assist with month-end and year-end closing Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and audit requirements Work closely with management to support general accounting functions within a busy food distribution environment Experience & Qualification Requirements: 10+ years of related bookkeeping or accounting experience (MUST HAVE PREPARED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS) Diploma in Accounting (required) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting) Experience with ACCPAC (required or strongly preferred) Strong analytical abilities, accuracy, and attention to detail Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced distribution environment **** ALL CANDIDATES MUST COMPLETE A FULL BACKGROUND CHECK AS PART OF THE APPLICATION PROCESS **** We use AI technology as part of our application review process to assist with screening and assessment.
