Our client, an established & growing private manufacturing company, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for reviewing A/P and A/R transactions, approving biweekly payment runs, preparing credit card reconciliations, reviewing revenue & expense allocations across multiple locations, weekly cashflow forecasting, inventory reporting & inventory reconciliations, month-end close including capital assets/depreciation, accruals, journal entries, GL reconciliations, preparation of monthly financial statements (IS/BS) for executive, bank reporting monthly & quarterly, as well as management reporting on a monthly and ad-hoc basis. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for the preparation of the annual budget, monthly variance analysis, and acting as the primary contact with the external auditors during the year-end audit. Requirements: CPA Canada designation in good standing is a must - consideration will be given to candidates receiving their CPA later in 2026. 5+ years of overall accounting experience, and 3+ years of experience with month-end close and involvement in financial statement preparation. Enthusiasm towards an industrial business and working with operational staff/operational leadership is essential. Experience in a manufacturing environment, and/or with Inventory accounting, would be a definite asset.
