Develop an understanding of collective bargaining agreements, payroll legislation, and company policies and apply them to time entry and payroll-related activities. Assist with new hire onboarding, employment letters, Records of Employment (ROEs), and employee set up in company systems. Maintain accurate payroll records while ensuring the confidentiality and security of sensitive information. Respond to employee and stakeholder inquiries related to time entry, onboarding documentation, and payroll processes. Assist with payroll processing activities, audits, reconciliations, and data validation as required. Support payroll team initiatives and continuous process improvement activities. Build and maintain positive working relationships with employees, supervisors, and other stakeholders. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous administrative, data entry, customer service, timekeeping, or payroll experience is considered an asset. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience working with payroll, HRIS, or timekeeping systems is considered an asset.
