Lead Auditor

As Chief Auditor you will be auditor for our audits focused on important risks of the capital markets (Front Office, Capital Markets Operations, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Compliance Capital Markets). You will collaborate with strategic partners throughout the Bank to identify areas at risk and/or potential improvements, as well as sharing your knowledge with your colleagues on complex subjects in the realization of the work performed. Your role Perform audit work and/or lead audits of capital markets sectors Ambassador for Internal Audit with our partners in Capital Markets, Operations, Market Risk, Operational Risk and compliance Negotiator/Influencer with our partners, specifically senior management, as it relates to issues raised and possible solutions Coach for the team on the processes, governance, reporting and best practices Bring together the Audit team, as well as other risk/control functions Your team You will join a multidisciplinary team with more than 20 colleagues and will report to the Senior Manager - Internal Audit Capital Markets. Prerequisite Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in a related field with 7 years of relevant experience Curious, with a desire to learn new business activities and related processes Ability to collaborate effectively in a positive way with team members and partners from various backgrounds towards a common goal Independent, accountable, collaborative, good attention to detail and proactive As we are a multidisciplinary team, we are looking with candidates having auditor profile and/or capital markets profile Auditor profile: Minimum 7 years of in-depth experience in the audit profession In depth understanding of the audit process (leading mandates, identifying risks, evaluating controls, drafting issues/audit reports) Professional auditor certification: CPA, CIA or equivalent (asset) Capital Markets profile: Minimum 7 years of in-depth experience in the end-to-end Capital Markets process, such as Front Office, Capital Markets Operations, Market Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, and/or Compliance Capital Markets Understanding of the risks inherent to Capital Markets activities Capital markets certification: FRM/PRM, CFA (asset) Languages: French, English Reason to require this language: you will need to discuss frequently with our service providers or partners who speak a language other than French. Candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree and at least 7 years of experience in either the audit profession or end-to-end Capital Markets processes. Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, FRM, PRM, or CFA are considered assets.
