Manage accounting for digital assets/cryptocurrency transactions, including cost-basis tracking, wallet reconciliations, and gain/loss reporting. Utilize crypto accounting platforms (e.g., Cryptoworth, Tokenbooks, Utila) alongside QuickBooks to maintain accurate, audit-ready financial records. Assist with tax filings, remittances, and coordination with external accountants/auditors in both Canada and the U.S. Support internal controls, policies, and process improvements as the finance function matures. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Liaise with cross-functional teams (Compliance, Operations) to ensure accurate financial treatment of payment flows and stablecoin-related transactions. Support audit preparation and respond to auditor/regulator inquiries as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation (or in progress) or Foreign professional qualification preferred. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including exposure to multi-entity/cross-border structures (Canada–U.S. preferred). Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently in an evolving and very fast-paced startup environment. Growth Opportunity This role is designed to grow with the company.
