As a Manager in the Accounting Services Group, you will: Manage and review year-end files, including compilation and review engagements under ASPE, as well as related tax preparation. Perform preliminary work and engagement planning. Ensure work is completed on time, including meeting deadlines. Review financial statements prepared under ASPE, including all notes and schedules. Review, revise and manage various tax slips, while demonstrating a strong understanding of tax concepts related to compliance for private companies. Identify and resolve technical issues. Identify potential tax planning strategies. Respond to client requests. Deliver training related to your area of expertise. Coach team members and conduct performance evaluations. You will focus on serving privately owned clients and will have an opportunity to work with a variety of business sectors including manufacturing, agriculture, retail/service, construction, real-estate, transportation, professional services and others. Enough About Us, Let’s Talk About You 5-7 years of relevant experience in an accounting firm. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and tax compliance, as well as advanced accounting skills. Strong attention to detail and comfort working with tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and team management skills. A professional accounting designation (CPA). Experience with CaseWare and Taxprep. Total Rewards The salary range for this position is $74,000 - $138,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
