Accounting Technician

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Technician to join the Montreal team based on-site in the Montreal office. The Accounting Technician will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting tasks, and providing clear, concise reports for leadership.

• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements. • Post journal entries. • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports. • Reconcile accounts. • Process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments. • Balance rent roll. • Receive and issue payments.

• College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Accounting Technology/Bookkeeping, or equivalent experience required. • 7-12 months of experience in related field • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks • Strong organizational and analytical skills - Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and time management skills required. • English and/or French proficiency • Ability to work on-site, with no hybrid or remote work permitted.
