URGENT NEED- One of our clients, Moruzzi, is seeking to fill a Jr Controller, Finance & Accounting position ( Job Location: 6685 Bd Couture, Montreal, Qc, H1P 3L7 ( Saint-Leonard) One of North America's leading stone companies driven by a European heritage; Moruzzi is the reference for the execution of impeccable designs. We support professionals at every stage of their projects, from custom installations to complex architectural details. We are growing! You will be Accountable for: * Participate in the full accounting cycle (billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable) * Prepare various financial reports, analyses, and reconciliations * Collaborate on the monthly preparation of financial statements * Monitor budgets, expenditures, and variances * Participate in improving internal processes and management tools * Provide administrative and accounting support to the team as needed The Qualifications that Count: * Education in accounting, finance, or related fields * 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role (an asset, but new graduates are welcome) * Very good command of Excel and common accounting software such as Sage * Great rigor, organizational skills, and attention to detail * Analytical mind and ability to work independently and in a team * Must have a legal Canadian work permit. Candidates should have an education in accounting or finance and 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, although new graduates are welcome. A strong command of Excel and accounting software is required, along with organizational skills and attention to detail.
